Name: October (Okt - Ober)
Age: 3 years (12 Seasons)
Gender: Female.
Appearance/description:
October is slender and tall, paws and ears slightly larger than those on a normal wolf. Her eyes are a deep, deep brown, almost black, and have an extremely sharp look to them always. She is ebony black, and when the sunlight or moonlight hits her pelt, it shines lusterously. Her tail is thick and full, providing a warm wrap-around during the cold months. Her fangs are clean, white, and sharp, able to snap the backbone of small prey with less than a split second to spare. Her pelt is very thick, the rough of her neck and her chest having especially long threads of it. She has a slight, hardly noticeable scar under the left side of her chin, placed there by one of her siblings as a pup. She is extremely attractive to most brutes. She is muscular, but the toning is hardly noticeable beneath her thick pelt, misleading enemies.
Personality:
Despite her beauty, October has an extremely tomboyish side to her. She is wild like winter, and as cold as the month she was named after. She is undeterminable and steely, keeping most of her emotions, thoughts, and feelings on the inside. October can truly be kind and gentle, but only to those she holds dear to her heart, and she can be particularly cruel to males. She believes that love is a waste--or at least that's what she tells those about her--but on the inside, yearns for that perfect mate. She is very poetic, and good with words, providing young ones with stories and old ones with song. She has a soft-spot for pups, regardless of their gender, due to an experience of hers a year ago. October has a wide knowledge of herbs and their properties, and seems to have an uncanny ability to find her way through the most foreign of territories. She is a good mediator. She is often silent, and will do almost anything to get attention away from herself. She spends her nights beneath the stars, and is very thoughtful, often reflecting on her past. She is colorful in personality.
History:
Born to the Beta pair of a pack in the East, Cian and Ailion, October was the only pup they ever had that survived past the age of 3 months, all the others dying of disease or predation. After the deaths of her siblings Zephan, Vega, River and Kato, (all males), her father denied having a pup at all, being as she was female, and was renamed "Izefiah", by the pack, because the name meant, "I have no child"...Her father's favorite phrase.
Cian, her mother, was a very tender, loving wolfess, completely doting on her only pup. The cruelty of her father Izefiah left October permenantly scarred, with a particular distaste for males. She went from trying to please him completely to doing everything to rebel against him, once she realized she could not make him proud...
She disobeyed any set rule. October was hell-bent to make her father's life miserable, since he seemed to hate her so much. One night, when all were asleep, October snuck out to a neighboring pack where she mated with a male she had never met before. She became pregnant, and bore two pups, both of which died not two days after. Her father, enraged at his daughter's misbehavior, and grieving the deaths of his grandpups, put the icing on the cake.
At the age of 2 years, wallowing in grief at the death of her pups, and hating the very blood that sired her, she was cast out of the pack, her mother wailing in anguish as her one and only child walked away. October never forgot the wails of her mother, and often, at night, she would lay awake, reliving that night she left over and over in her mind. She was once befriended by a lone raven whom she called Tusocs, and his wisdom of herbs and the forest imprinted upon her instantly.
The raven died at a ripe age, leaving October alone to wander. She stayed at a few packs, off and on, here and there for the year she was alone. She befriended a female, Raya, who was killed not 3 weeks later by a backstabbing fae of the pack. October left soon after to find herself a permenant home where her past could be, if not forgotten, hidden from the world.
