According to most people you control your life. Well, that isn’t always the case. Or mainly, that wasn’t the case. Not for me, anyways. It all began one dark night, consequently, on a lunar eclipse.
DARK OF THE MOON
A young girl, maybe the age of ten, skipped along the beaten dirt path, surrounded by trees on both sides. A fence lined the path. As the girl skipped along her long red hair, tied in a ponytail, flew behind her. Her green eyes sparkled merrily, wearing her bright pink shirt and basic blue jeans. Basically, this girl was what one might call ‘average’. She was a sort of popular girl at school, able to hang-out with ‘the cool kids’. She wasn’t snobby either, kind enough to hangout with the ‘un-cool’ kids, and share her lunch. But she wasn’t the brightest of the group. It took her a bit to understand a lot of jokes. But she was always happy as could be.
Tonight was no exception. She smiled, humming a tune to a song only she knew. The moon was visible above the path, and it shone in its full glory.
That was basically when it started. The moon was the main cause, the lunar eclipse what tripped the switch. The girl had no idea at the time of what was to come, or else she wouldn’t have been so happy.
Suddenly, it began. The moon began to turn dark, as the eclipse started. A growl to her right stopped the girl in her tracks. She turned to look, and immediately wished she hadn’t. A pair of glowing red eyes stared out at her. The beast moved, closer, which allowed her to see exactly what this frightful creature was. A huge black wolf. The largest she had ever seen, larger than the ones ever recorded. As it growled, large shining white teeth were revealed. They resembled thousands of needles, made to sew through flesh. The black fur was sleek and clean, as if this wolf were a pampered pet. But no one was crazy enough to keep this as a pet. Black claws made deep intents into the soft soil as it walked. The long tail flicked about behind.
The girl turned and ran, leaping over the fence. She could hear the breaking of the fence as the wolf followed, growling loudly. She knew he was gaining, and there wasn’t much she could do! Her shoelaces were her downfall. Untied as they were, they caught, and she tripped. The wolf ran up, stopping so he was right over her, his hot breathe on her face. The eclipse was nearly over. The girl put her arm up to defend herself. The wolf dug his teeth into that, but the eclipse ended right then. The wolf howled as he dissolved into thin air. The girl stared straight ahead, still scared stiff. She looked at the moon. No longer white, but a blood red. She then fainted.

LOST
Most people would think that being bitten by a black wolf on a lunar eclipse meant nothing. Once again, that was not the case. It meant a lot. For one, that the legends, long forgotten, were actually true. Two was that it changed the girls appearance and ruined her life. Of course, there were millions of other things that it meant, but these were the main ones.
The girl slowly opened her eyes. She yawned, and looked about. A lake? In a clearing? How had she gotten here? She couldn’t remember anything, except a blood red moon. She looked into the water, and leapt back as she saw her reflection. A pale white faced girl…with short black dreadlocks, and coal black eyes. She had been wearing a black t-shirt, and black pants. She looked at her hands, and shrieked. On the back of each of her palms was a black crescent moon. She breathed deep, shocked. She heard a deep laugh in her head, which scared her more. Who was she? What was that laugh? Suddenly, she remembered why she was like this. But not her past. What was her name? She strained, but could not remember. ‘Wolfuro’ The voice seemed like an echo in the back of her mind.
“ Wolfuro?” She whispered aloud. ‘Wolfuro.’ The voice said again, firmly. This voice was the Black Wolf, speaking to the girl in her mind. That was where he was forced to reside, at least until he had enough power to take over anyways. He had attacked her in the forest, to gain control of her body. To do that, he’d have to bite both arms, both legs, and any other spot. Of course, he had failed miserably in this attempt, only completing one arm.
“ Wolfuro…” she said, louder. “ that must be my name.” She was about to smile, when the evil laugh started up. It echoed around the forest, or was it in her head? She didn’t stop to figure it out. Her heart pounded as she ran, legs burning. She tripped, tumbling as she fell. She started to get up, on her hands and knees, but a series of coughs stopped her. Blood splattered the ground, leaving the girl gasping for breathe as her small body trembled uncontrollably. Her nose and mouth elongated, forming the furry snout of a wolf. Her hands became claws, while her hair and clothes turned into fur, and spread over her. Her body changed, bones shifting, until she had a dog shape. Her eyes had been closed, but now they opened. Burning red eyes replaced her pure black ones. A huge metamorphosis had occurred. No longer was Wolfuro human, or even in control of her body. The Black Wolf had taken over, and he sure was enjoying it. He gave a snarling grin, leaping through the forest at top speed.
“I did it! I am free forevermore! Your foolish seal can’t protect you now! Black Swan, Black Dragon, Black Fox…BAH! You’re dead meat!” The Black Wolf said, spitting out the names in disgust. He let out a howl, eager to begin his killing spree.
“what is this? My strength is fading! NO!” Wolfuro was unsure who had said this, before they whited out. It was true for both of them. She could feel her strength being sapped the longer Black Wolf had control.
The Black Wolf felt almost the same, although he didn’t noticed until the end. If he hadn’t given up control, Wolfuro would surely have died. This would leave the immortal wolf stuck waiting another ten thousand years for a chance to take control over someone new.

It was good. I caught a few minor spelling and grammatical errors, but nothing extremely serious. ^.^

( here's some more of the story:)Wolfuro squinted at the bright light, refusing to close her eyes, yet not able to open them. The light, it hurt to much. She closed her eyes.
Open your eyes. Black Wolf could only see what Wolfuro saw, and he didn’t like it at all. Open them! Wolfuro’s eyes shot open, letting out a yelp as the light hit again. She held up her hands, shielding herself from it. She was now sitting up, unlike her previously lying down position. Suddenly, the light dimmed, so Wolfuro could once again see.
Much better.
“ I’m sorry, dear, I didn’t know you were awake.” A kind, elderly voice reached Wolfuro’s ears. A low growl echoed in her mind as an elderly woman approached. She had long, silvery-black hair, reaching her waist. Thick, black rimmed spectacles lay over her sparkling blue eyes. A smile creased across the wrinkled face, as she looked at Wolfuro. She wore a plain white shirt, sleeves slightly to long. Her black pants were also a little to long, covering the tops of her shoes completely.
“ it’s okay.” Wolfuro said, with a puzzled look. Now that she could see, she was confused. She lay on a bed, warm blanket pulled over her. A bookshelf, some dressers, a doorway. She must be in someone’s house. A bedroom, perhaps? She shoved the blanket off, hopping clumsily from the bed.
I do not trust this lady.
“ I do.” Wolfuro replied defiantly, aloud.
“ Do what?” The elderly woman asked, raising an eyebrow.
“ Er…nothing!” Wolfuro said awkwardly, as the Black Wolves laughter echoed around her head. “ Where am I?”
“ My humble abode, dear. You may call me Auntie Tina.” She said, wide grin once more creasing her withered face.
“ okay then. Auntie Tina, how did I get here?”
“ tut tut, I still don’t know your name.”
“ Wolfuro.”
“ Much better, dear. Anyway, how you got hear. Let me start from the beginning.
I was out for a walk in the woods, when I heard the howl of a wolf. It was a horrible, bloodthirsty sound, let me tell you. Against all rational thought, I decided to find out what horrid creature was causing the racket. A wolf, obviously, but it seemed an unearthly sound. So, as I was saying, I stealthily walked to the noise, hiding behind trees and ducking beneath bushes. Finally, I saw the source. A most hideous black wolf, snarling up a right ‘ol storm! You can imagine my surprise, dear. Large, the beast was. Horrifying.
Then, the wolf cried out, in- get this -human tongue! Something about ‘fading strength’. The wolves body shrank, fur receeding, and turning into hair and clothes. There, in the wolves place, was you! I thought it only right to bring you into my home, ensure your safe recovery.” She finished, slowly shaking her head, absentmindedly.
I don’t believe her, and neither should you! I don’t believe it wise. Something about her seems fishie. Are you even listening to me?! Wolfuro ignored the Black Wolf, amazed at what the woman had done for her.
“ I don’t know what to say…” Wolfuro murmured, feeling she must say something, at least.
“ No need to thank me, dear, although I would really like to know how you came to be that black wolf.” Auntie Tina said, with a smile. Wolfuro nodded.
Stop, do not tell her anything, you fool!
Wolfuro began to tell her tale, saying everything little detail she could remember. Auntie Tina listened intently, nodding her head. Every so often came the occasional comment, such as ‘I would have done the same, dear’ or ‘you poor thing!’
“ I believe I might know what has happened to you, dear. Do you know the legend, of the Time Gods?” Auntie Tina asked, after Wolfuro had finished. Wolfuro shook her head.
“ But I always enjoy a story.” She said, with a hopeful smile. Auntie Tina smiled as well.
“ Then I shall tell it.”
Long ago, when the earth was new, lived the Time Gods. They were four kinds of Time Gods. Dawn, Day, Twilight, and Night. They resided on Earth, living in harmony with humans and animals. Each group was strongest during their certain time, and each has a wonderful story behind them. But today, we learn about the Night Gods.
There were many, many Night Gods, but the four who were like leaders were the Black Dragon, Black Swan, and the Black Wolf.
