“Leave me alone,” A faint growl came from the throat of a brown gold wolf, his paws covering his muzzle. He snorted in disgust, and turned his head away. Memories floods his mind, as a sly voice whispered, They’ll never accept you, look at what you’ve done… Terrible scenes flashed before the wolf’s eyes.
“That was me then, I left it. I can’t go back, I’ve changed…” He told himself, as he stood and began the day’s journey. His paws barely touched the ground, and it would look like he was flying past the forest, if it wasn’t for his slight limp. But he continued to run.
As the sun began to set, he reached the borders of the Dreancatcher Valley. So many rumors he had heard, he wondered which ones were true. He hesitated at the borders, should he cross? How do you know that they have what you need? The voice spoke again. I’ll tell you, they don’t. Don’t waste your time here. The wolf ignored the voice, and strode boldly into the land.
They don’t have what you want,
“Why should I listen to you, what help have you ever been?”
Who help you lived all these seasons?
“….”
See, listen to me!!
The wolf ignored him, and raised his muzzle. He lips formed an ‘O’, but before he could howl, the voice bombarded him.
They’ll betray you!!! If you howl, you’re on your own. They’ll kill you when they find out what you’ve done
The wolf shook his head, and howled as loud as he could. All his angry, and frustration was in this haunted melody. He laid on the forest floor, waiting for the voice to yell at him, but nothing came. He raised his head. Was he free? His eyes widen in glee, then clouded. He was on his own…
(Sorry, I can do loads better, I’m just tired)
